A light beam of hope

I wanted to create a dark athomspheric wasteland kind of setting. An area that was long forsaken by humans and every living thing. Except for one man who has held his stand for a long time. After years of suffering the time has finally come. The light beam represents hope. The green island stands for the good things that await us and that there is allways hope, no matter how dark and desperate our surroundings are.
